The TRU Project, a collaboration between AD and TRU Realty invited talents from the realm of architecture and design to submit plans for luxury villas at TRU Realty’s Kekarav Project, a 36-acre lush site in Pune. Here, we take a closer look at the finalists and their designs in this one-of-a-kind architecture competition.

One of the three finalists is Prajakta Gawali of PG Architects. With over 15 years of experience of working on around 50 residential projects, more than seven industrial projects with MNCs from India, the USA, Sweden, France, and Germany, Prajakta Gawali knows architectural design like the back of her hand. She is truly a force to be reckoned with in the business.

Sustainable and aesthetic

With an unparalleled level of mastery, Gawali approached the TRU Realty project with her meticulous attention to creativity and detail. Her focus has always been to elevate clients‘ experience to the next level, and unsurprisingly, she was able to achieve that with this project as well.

The project she designed is equipped with a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, and four bedrooms. A staircase lands right into the living room and the entrance comes equipped with a lift. A courtyard at the axis of the staircase rises till the terrace level makes way for enchanting sunlight and fresh air. All of the common public areas are laid out on the ground floor, including the guest bedroom, designed at a height of 1.2m above the living room, allowing parking space to be placed underneath it. The upper sections of the house have the corners for personal spaces, with the first floor housing two bedrooms, and the second floor housing the master bedroom, the multi-purpose hall and terrace, allowing privacy and discretion. Wooden louvres form the façade which is used to provide protection to the structure from the sun, and it also helps to maintain privacy while accentuating the character of the artful design.

Using the natural beauty of Kekarav, PG Architects has skillfully demonstrated that modern houses can coexist with nature itself. Showcasing mastery in its truest sense. Gawali enriched the TRU Realty project with the attention to creativity and detail and the focus sustainability.
