Salone del Mobile 2021
Salone del Mobile and Fiera Milano organisation announced that the next edition of the international design and decoration fair will be held in September. “With the aim of finding the best possible solutions to enable the Salone del Mobile Milano 2021, and after long and extensive discussions, we are in a position to announce the date, guaranteeing safety in the face of the current pandemic,” they said in a statement. Thus, the sixtieth edition of the Salone will be held in 2021, not in April as is traditional, but in September.

The health concerns caused due to Coronavirus brought the Paris to a hault. Although in 2020 they did launch a digital version, the organisation has already confirmed new dates for the celebration of its double annual event. The first one will take place from March 26 to 30 and the second from September 10 to 14.

The Nordic region had to cancel its edition scheduled for January but they are already working hard for this summer. The fair will reopen its doors from August 24 to 27, 2021. “Last year did not turn out to be as we imagineded. During the fall, we did everything possible to be able to move forward with Formex. Unfortunately, we announce that given the restrictions on public meetings and events, Formex January 2021 is canceled. Instead, we are working at full speed for Formex in August 2021,” said a spokesperson.
